Commercial Snow & Salt

Reliable snow removal is not something you want to figure out the morning of a storm. We work with commercial clients on a seasonal retainer basis — your property is on our route before winter starts, not after you call.

We are a regional operator with local equipment and knowledge. Our commercial clients are long-term relationships, not one-off calls.

Parking Lot Snow Plowing

We plow commercial parking lots in Ogle County and surrounding communities on a seasonal retainer basis. Before winter begins, we walk your property, identify stacking locations, mark obstacles and curbs, and set service trigger depths and response time expectations. When a storm hits, your lot is already on our route; no calls, no delays, no scrambling.

Full lot clearing is coordinated with de-icing application timing so surfaces are treated before or after plowing based on conditions and your client preferences. Mid-event and after-event service intervals are defined in your contract so expectations are clear on both sides.

Sidewalk & Walkway Clearing

Slip-and-fall liability makes pedestrian area clearing as important as the parking lot  -  sometimes more. We clear sidewalks, building entrances, loading docks, and high-traffic walkways as part of our commercial snow service, timed with parking lot plowing so your property is accessible when employees and customers arrive.

Pedestrian area scope is defined in the pre-season walkthrough, so nothing is missed during an event. Service is coordinated with de-icing application on high-risk surfaces.

Salt & De-icing Application

Bulk salt and de-icing application is what keeps a plowed commercial lot in Ogle County safe between events and after temperatures drop. We apply salt and liquid de-icing products to parking lots, driveways, and high-traffic surfaces before forecast events or after plowing based on conditions and your facility’s schedule.

Pre-treatment before major storms reduces ice bond strength and makes post-storm cleanup faster. Application rates are calibrated to conditions; we are not blanket-salting at the same rate regardless of temperature or pavement type.

Rock Chip Spreading

On commercial surfaces where salt alone does not provide adequate traction, particularly during sustained cold where refreeze is persistent, rock chip spreading gives reliable grip for both vehicles and pedestrians. Available as a standalone service or combined with salt and de-icing application.

What we cover: parking lots and high-traffic driving surfaces | pedestrian areas with persistent refreeze | standalone or combined with salt application

Seasonal Retainer Contracts

We do not take residential driveways or one-off storm calls. Our commercial snow clients are seasonal retainer relationships, which means predictable service, a consistent crew that knows your property, and clear pricing before the first snowflake falls.

Retainer contracts include a pre-season site walkthrough, defined service triggers and response times, agreed scope for plowing, de-icing, and pedestrian area clearing, and straightforward invoicing with no per-storm billing surprises. Commercial snow availability in Ogle County is limited, if you are interested in service for the coming winter, reaching out early gives you the best chance of securing a slot.

Ice Management Planning

Ice management is not the same as snow removal. It requires identifying high-risk surfaces before winter, setting treatment protocols, and making sure your facilities team and our crew are aligned before the first freeze. We work with commercial property managers in Ogle County to build a practical ice management plan as part of our seasonal retainer service.

Planning includes: pre-season site walkthrough for high-risk area identification | service trigger depth and temperature definitions | communication and notification preferences | coordination with your facilities or property management team | documentation for insurance and liability purposes

Reach out early if you are interested in seasonal service.
